Waterton Lakes National Park is a breathtaking experience located in South Western Alberta. Out of the rolling prairies suddenly rise the majestic Rocky Mountains where ancient lakes delight, carved out of the rock by glaciers in aeons past. Bordering Glacier National Park in Montana, the two Parks combine to form the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, the first of its kind in the world. Waterton Lakes National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an International Peace Park, and a Biosphere Reserve! The only Park in the world to have these three distinctions!
